Five years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I refused chemotherapy, radiation and disfiguring surgeries because I discovered a better way. I changed my life, started to eat different and this is how I met Jessica. I would see her giving raw food preparation classes in the community. Her engaging, lively spirit drew my attention. Three years ago I bonded with her even more during an intensive ten day training seminar. These were my first experiences with Jessica’s yoga classes. We did them early on the beach. As I and the other students were bathed in the light, the Sun salutation (Surya Namaskar) felt so wonderfully peaceful! Jessica’s enthusiasm and encouragement makes each exercise flow. At the end of the class, Jessica would sometimes sing a beautiful, soothing song. Another time she used a healing tone from a bowl that just went right through my body and was amazing! Intuitively, she knows what your body needs. Plus, my desire to work hard and ‘at my highest’ is realized and fulfilled. The way I feel at the end of each class convinces me that she has something to share. She is a beautiful
performer, teacher, healer and mentor. Her encouragement and inspiration have always been there in my journey to wellness in mind, body and soul. In addition to yoga, Jessica’s work as a colonist has also been a very healing part of my treatment, physically and emotionally. Helping me to reach my goals and ’keep the faith’ has been Jessica’s gift to me. Using these practices of raw food, exercise through yoga, and the cleansing of colonics have all helped keep me well and in optimal health!
